This is probably from the late 70s/early 80s. It’s an apple with a worm inside. When you place a coin on the red thing sticking up, a worm comes out and grabs it, placing it inside. It’s a wind up mechanism.
The bottom of the bank is lost to history, and there’s some writing and whatnot on it. It also probably had a stem. But it’s unique and kind of hilarious.
