Absolutely fabulous mid century hand woven figural basket in the shape of a crab. Huge claws, 8 legs, black button eyes. So cute.
Very rare, I can only find one other like it on the internet, and it sold for $895 on another platform. I spent many hours trying to find others, to no avail. Of course there are copies, but no other genuine articles!
To boot, this basket is in perfect condition. Zero flaws.
Very large size.
Just his shell is 13” x 11”
If you include legs and claws he is 17” x 16”.
