Selling my vintage couture wedding dress from a high-end designer bridal boutique in New York City. This gown was featured on the runway in the 1980s, making it a truly one-of-a-kind couture piece. It was gifted to me by the doctor I worked for, who shared its history.
This is a princess-style satin ball gown with long sleeves.
The dress is covered in hand-beaded lace appliqué, ornate detailing on the sleeves, a dramatic full skirt, and a flowing train that transforms into a romantic Bridgerton-style bustle using the original button system. It originally retailed for over $5,000.
Imperfections include:
- Discoloration on bottom train and some lace edges
- Light stain marks on parts of the skirt
A few faint scratches / marks on satin fabric
Small spot near lace panel discoloration
Bust area has been professionally widened/altered.
It has been preserved beautifully. The feel is extremely high quality.
