The former Mayor of Philadelphia was James H. J. Tate and the Executive Director of the Planning Commission was Edmund N. Bacon, actor Kevin Bacon’s father. Bacon and his staff conceived and implemented numerous large and small-scale design ideas that shaped today's Philadelphia. These design concepts became Penn Center, Market East, Penn's Landing, Society Hill, Independence Mall, and the Far Northeast.
Illustrated throughout with photographs, diagrams and color maps.
Condition is used. The front and back covers have overall wear with fading, discoloration, scratching, light staining and warping. The interior pages are in good condition with a few pages starting to tear away from the plastic binding on the bottom. No writing in book. Please zoom all photos for more details.
