A new collaborative recently picked up by the NuYork Disco label, Discoruption updates the classic disco sound and adds modern elements to the mix to bring something entirely new to the table. Discoruption has a unique talent for taking old favorite disco classics and reworking them to reflect their own sensibilities. A case in point would be their reworking of Philadelphia based disco singer/songwriter Len Boone's classic 1979 percussion and bass heavy floor filler, "There's No Me Without You." The vibe of the original is still intact but the approach is quite modern and adds new life to a time worn classic. The new single features 3 exclusive mixes including bonus instrumental and acappella takes.
